Community

Our core community consists of 1,500+ Braze employees on five continents, representing various disciplines, backgrounds, and experiences. Our employee resource groups (ERGs) and social impact efforts create diverse leadership opportunities and amplify employee passions, making Braze a more fulfilling place to work.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion

Our diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives are designed to support an inclusive environment for employees, one where diverse backgrounds and perspectives are celebrated, and everyone is encouraged to play a role in driving overall business success.

By enhancing the opportunities available to our employees, we build community, bolstering employee satisfaction and reinforcing our tradition of maintaining a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. While our DEI efforts are supported in part by specialists and relevant subject matter experts, we know that outcomes depend on collective action among members of the Braze employee community.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Braze has a rich culture of ERGs. As of July 2024, Braze hosts 11 ERGs that foster a sense of belonging for employees in connection with their identities and experiences.

ERG Grants Program: In the second year of the Braze ERG Grant Program, ERGs allocated $300,000 in unrestricted grants to over 36 impactful nonprofits and charities worldwide between August 2023 and June 2024.

HRC Corporate Equality Index (CEI): Braze was included in the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), recognizing our company's strong commitment to promoting equality for LGBTQ+ individuals in the workplace.

Mentorship Program: Inspired by the Elle Mentorship Program originated by Elle @ Braze, Braze created a company-wide mentorship program called Forging Mentorship.
